Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an entry-level automotive technician role in our shop. You will perform preventive maintenance, oil and fluid services, and light repairs on a fleet of newer vehicles, while learning from experienced technicians and pursuing ASE certifications.

This on-site position offers on-the-job training, benefits, and opportunities to advance within the company as you gain skills and ASE credentials.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• At least 6 months of auto maintenance experience or completion of automotive coursework.
• Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and shop systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand repeatedly in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on newer vehicles.
• Assist more experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs as needed.
• Contribute to safe, reliable vehicle availability for customers.
