Avis Budget Group in Kenner, Louisiana is hiring an entry-level automotive service technician to service a fleet of newer vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, oil changes, tire rotations, and basic repairs to keep cars safe and available for rental.

This role offers on-the-job training toward ASE certifications, a supportive shop environment, and opportunities to advance as you gain hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months auto maintenance experience or automotive school coursework.
• Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
• Must have a valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair on fleet vehicles (oil/fluids, tire changes, rotations, basic repairs).
• Assist more experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs as skills grow.
• Contribute to safe, reliable vehicle availability for customers.
