Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an entry level Automotive Technician to learn basic services in our Auto Service centers. You’ll gain hands-on experience and receive comprehensive on-the-job training with no prior automotive experience required.

You will learn tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, and preventive maintenance while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment; benefits include medical, 401(k), certification reimbursement, and paid vacations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• No prior automotive experience required; extensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Learn to complete basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and more.
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles to ensure excellent service.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations and maintain safety policies.
• Perform routine manual tasks, including lifting and handling tires and equipment.
