Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an entry level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers. You will learn basic automotive services, including tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and preventative maintenance, while delivering exceptional service.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. We value safety, customer care, and teamwork as you grow your career with Goodyear in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn to mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and conduct basic preventative maintenance.
• Provide excellent guest service and clear communication with customers.
• Train with mid and senior technicians to learn additional automotive services.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations and safety guidelines.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels, standing and bending.
