Job summary

Jiffy Lube Sequim is seeking a General Service Technician to service guest vehicles and support a high-standard guest experience. You will participate in our training program to gain certification and build a career path within Team Car Care.

You will work in a fast-paced service center with teamwork, clear communication, and safety at the forefront. The role requires 18+ years, customer-facing experience, and physical stamina for daily tasks in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated and a team player
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending/squatting
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles
• Ensure service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates; ensure tire pressure is correct
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary; complete vehicle inspections
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter
• Document all work performed on the repair order; report safety issues to management
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform various manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
