Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in West Bloomfield, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a dedicated team servicing vehicles. This entry-level role offers full and part-time benefits from day one, including tool program discounts and competitive pay.

You will diagnose and repair basics, perform oil changes, tire maintenance, install batteries and shocks, and road test vehicles, with opportunities for ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
