Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the BSRO team in Northville, MI. This entry-level role supports vehicle servicing with a focus on brakes, alignments, suspensions, and tire maintenance, among other tasks.

The position offers full- and part-time benefits from day one, including tool program discounts and competitive pay. Vehicle maintenance, road testing, and on-site duties are involved.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
