Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical or related engineering field.
• Trade school certificates with relevant experience may be considered.
• 0–3+ years in industrial automation, instrumentation and controls, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Control System Design: assist with selection and accurate drawings for automation systems.
• HMI/SCADA: configure graphics and screens per company standards.
• PLC/DDC: assist with tag configuration and control logic using templates or libraries.
• Testing/Commissioning: support bench testing, FAT, and site startup; travel may be required (up to 30%).
• Documentation: maintain IO lists, sequences, specs, test protocols and markups.
• Safety & Compliance: follow safety procedures and training (OSHA-10).
• Quality: ensure deliverables meet quality standards for right-first-time work.
