Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team in Nashville, TN. This entry-level position will be integral to a high-volume service team and will involve diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems with hands-on training.

Both full-time and part-time schedules are offered from day one, with a tool program, paid time off, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
