Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, help customers, and achieve sales objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

You will assist with battery installations and other DIY services, maintain inventory and store standards, and work varied days including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to communicate in English; Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of parts and automotive systems; ability to use store inventory and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls.
• Meet personal sales goals and help the store reach its targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including receiving, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Assist with store cleanliness, stocking, and safely delivering parts when needed.
