Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. This entry-level role requires basic automotive knowledge, strong customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

You will handle in-store and phone interactions, source parts, and perform DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, while maintaining inventory and store standards in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Must speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedures.
• Basic math and parts pricing skills.
• 2-3 years of successful sales in a diverse retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
