Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, deliver excellent customer service, and meet our sales objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience is preferred.
• Strong basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to read safety and maintenance documents.
• Must be able to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
