Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support our DIY business. This entry-level role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, provide DIY services, and help meet sales and service objectives.

The position can be part-time or full-time. You must be able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet sales targets.
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs).
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory tasks.
• Handle inventory processes: truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with stocking and deliveries.
