Job summary

Behavioral Health Works in Downey, CA seeks a part-time Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver in-home and community ABA therapy to children and adolescents with ASD. You will track progress, maintain professional communication with families, and support skill development with energetic, kid-focused sessions.

Minimum requirements include 60 college credits, or 6 months’ experience with developmental disabilities, or an active RBT certification, with at least 3 days per week and after 3 PM

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits completed or 6 months of recent work experience with children with developmental disabilities or an active RBT certification.
• Must meet minimum availability: 3 days per week, at least 10 hours per week, after 3 PM.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sessions.
• Access to a smartphone or device with internet to capture session data.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home & community-based ABA therapy.
• Track client progress during sessions.
• Maintain clear communication with families and team.
• Remain energetic and patient while engaging with active children.
