Job summary

MDPI USA is seeking a recent graduate for an entry-level, full-time Assistant Editor role based in our Philadelphia office. The position focuses on supporting researchers worldwide in publishing their latest results, with training provided on the job during the first six months.

You will work within our Editorial team to manage the peer review process for journals in Physical Science, handle communications with authors and reviewers, and ensure timely, high-quality publication of scholarly

Qualifications

  • PhD required in Physics or related field.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage the peer review process for submitted manuscripts.
  • Handle professional email communication with authors, reviewers, and editors throughout the publication process.
  • Collaborate closely with members of the editorial and production teams.
  • Ensure scholarly articles are edited and published on tight deadlines with high quality.
