Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Quoter/Admin Assistant in electronics assembly/contract manufacturing.
• Proficient in viewing Gerbers, PCB drawings & BOMs; knowledge of electronics components.
• Knowledge of BOM pricing from distributors.
• Knowledge of pricing assembly labor is a plus.
• Strong math aptitude and detail oriented.
• Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to learn software for PCB/Assembly like ProCim, CAM350/AEGIS-CircuitCAM/VALOR/GENESIS/ERP.
• Ability to type 40-45 wpm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent customer service with urgency.
• Professional demeanor and interest in aiding sales.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Ability to perform at high level in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembly RFQ check-in and analysis of customer data, pricing BOMs, and estimating parameters.
• Validate online Assembly ORDERS placed on the company website.
• Provide guidance to team members for RFQ quoting.
• Process assembly RFQs and related paperwork timely.
• Communicate with team, sales, customers and supervisors to answer queries.
• Handle multiple projects in parallel.
• Prepare reports for Supervisor/Manager.
• Provide admin support to the Assembly & Design Quoting Team.
• Follow departmental procedures.
• Meet or exceed daily goals.
• Maintain company performance goals.
• Be punctual with good attendance.
• Interact professionally with managers, coworkers and vendors.
• Any other duties as assigned.
