Job summary

Rhodes Wolfe is seeking an Entry Level Applications Engineer in Lawrence, MA to serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, supporting plastic valves and piping systems. You will evaluate requirements, propose solutions, and assist the sales team with product selection and customization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Internship experience required.
• Ability to convey complex technical information to technical/non-technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical phone calls and quote requests from customers and distributors.
• Evaluate customer requirements and recommend products and engineered solutions.
• Develop technical proposals, quotations and supporting docs for custom projects.
• Conduct product training, presentations and seminars for customers and distributors.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and fabrication teams to meet specs.
• Review BOMs, routings and fabrication processes for accuracy.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, notes and installation guides.
• Support product testing, performance evaluations and failure analysis.
• Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
