CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense in Warren, MA seeks an Applications Engineer - Valves to prepare quotations and apply product selection with price and availability. You will provide technical assistance, support and value selection for applications, consulting with engineering as needed.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of technical customer service experience in manufacturing, a mechanical engineering background, and strong Excel/Word/Access skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years' relevant experience; valve, regulator, fluid mechanics coursework will be additional qualifications.
• Proficient in Word and Excel software.
• Strong customer service and technical background in manufacturing support.
• Able to plan work and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares verbal and written quotations for domestic and international customers.
• Assists customer inquiries on order status, ship methods, pricing and availability.
• Analyzes opportunities and facilitates project quotations.
• Serves as a technical resource and solves problems with or without supervision.
• Potential to grow into a larger role of responsibility.
• Document sales activities and track opportunities.
