Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stonebriar of Frisco Apartments in Frisco, TX. The role requires ability to perform plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs, walk and lift up to 50 lbs, and work evenings/weekends.

EPA Type II or Universal and CPO are a plus; valid driver’s license required. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
• Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC is a plus.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities
