Job summary

Cottonwood Residential in Frisco, TX is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Stonebriar of Frisco Apartments. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to keep the property safe and welcoming.

This role requires English communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and availability for evenings, weekends, and on-call emergencies with support from the Service Manager. EPA Type II or Universal, HVAC experience, and a valid driver’s license are a plus; we offer

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
• Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC is a plus.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities
