Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Carson, CA is seeking an entry-level Threadroll Machinist for the 2nd shift. The role entails operating thread rolling equipment to manufacture aerospace fasteners, with training provided.

You will learn setup, tooling changes, and inspection practices while adhering to work instructions and quality standards. Responsibilities include in-cell operations, documentation, and basic dimensional inspection using gauges.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience operating machinery.
• Ability to perform basic math, including decimals.
• ability to read and follow written work instructions
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

• Operate threadroll operations on threaded pin products.
• Learn basic machine setup, tooling changes, and adjustments under supervision.
• Complete production documentation and inspection reports using basic measuring equipment.
• Perform in-cell wash, tumble, flat roll operations and run fillet roll machines as required.
• Conduct 1st Article and in-process inspections, use gauges to measure dimensions, input data into SPC system.
• Follow all EHS Policies and Safety Procedures; report incidents promptly.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned
