Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in City of Industry, CA, is seeking a 1st Shift Machining Tech III to join the manufacturing team on-site.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic shop math, and the ability to communicate in English, with the capability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform set-ups. You will independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot machinery, participate in Kaizen events, and help train Machining Tech I-III.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a machinist
• Legal authorization to work in United States
• LOTO certification and safety compliance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements

Responsibilities

• Independently sets up, operates, and troubleshoots machinery for self/others
• Be familiar with human performance tasks and quality processes
• Able to cross-train in other areas as required
• Participate in Kaizen events and support department goals and metrics
