Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Technician IV at our Carson location to set up and operate multiple machine tools, troubleshoot issues, and ensure parts meet specifications.

The role involves first article inspections, SPC, and collaboration with maintenance and supervision to sustain high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in manufacturing, proficient use of micrometers, calipers, and other gauges, and the ability to work on a Davenport-designed suite of

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of manufacturing experience or relevant machinery.
• Able to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, comparators, gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate standard and specialized machines.
• Read work orders and set up procedures for specialized products.
• Perform first article inspection and document results.
• Operate and monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, adjust setups as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance with maintenance teams.
• Possess SPC and System 21/22 knowledge as required.
• Assist with training of machine operators.
