Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is seeking a Procurement Specialist - Level 1 in Irvine, CA to support on-time delivery, quality, and cost objectives. You will manage materials, supplies, and services, coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, and Accounts Payable to meet production needs.

You will review RFQs, negotiate pricing, source new vendors, and ensure compliance with purchasing policies while contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to ensure accuracy in purchase orders and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain purchase orders using Powerlink and keep them up to date.
• Review RFQs for accuracy and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
• Manage open order reports and drive on-time supplier delivery and PO closure.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, AP to meet goals.
• Source new vendors and product streams as directed.
• Ensure commodities are purchased per customer requirements.
