Job summary

RTX is seeking entry-level engineers for the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems department in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on troubleshooting electronics, circuit analysis, and subassembly testing, with collaboration across disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and have hands-on experience with test equipment, RF/analog/digital concepts, and test procedures. Onsite work with relocation eligibility offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with test equipment and automation scripting.
• Knowledge of RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal circuit design or analysis is preferred.
• Experience writing/executing test procedures and integrating hardware subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronics in lab/production; perform system and circuit analysis; subsystem integration and test; support failure investigations; maintain/create documentation; interact with multi-discipline teams.
• Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to component level (CCA).
• Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze and model analog/digital signals of subsystems; use simulations.
• Identify circuit card/subassembly design updates and conduct subassembly integration/testing.
• Develop interconnect models between subsystems and document results.
• Create test procedures/plans and report results; present to small teams.
• Work independently or in a team; may travel <10% for field support.
