Job summary

RTX's Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department in Tucson, AZ seeks entry-level engineers to develop and test electronics for guidance systems. You will troubleshoot and analyze subsystems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help implement corrective actions in a production/ lab setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, plus hands-on test Experience with RF/analog/digital/mixed signals and standard lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
• Experience with writing and/or executing test procedures.
• Basic lab or other experience with RF, analog, digital, mixed signal, circuit design or analysis.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronics in a lab or production environment; perform system and circuit level analysis; support failure investigations; maintain and create documentation; interact with multi-discipline groups.
• Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels.
• Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
• Performing analog and digital circuit analysis and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronics subsystems in simulation.
• Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates.
• Conducting integration & test at the subassembly level.
• Develop interconnect models between various subsystems.
• Generate test procedures/plans and document test results.
• Generate and present task results to small technical teams.
• Potential travel to test areas for support/troubleshooting issues, less than 10%.
