Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Surface Based Effectors Production Department in Tucson. You will join a multi-disciplined team to apply engineering tools and processes on electrical subsystems for target detection, tracking, guidance, navigation, signal processing and communications.

The role requires a Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and hands-on experience with RF, analog, digital, and DSP, plus lab equipment proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed-signal circuit design or analysis and/or DSP.
• Experience with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels.
• Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers).
• Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
• Create and present electrical engineering drawing update solutions.
• Investigate and implement process and/or test improvement projects.
