Qualifications

• 0-2 years of office, bookkeeping or data-entry experience (internships count).
• Comfortable with Excel and learning new software.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Scan, enter and file vendor invoices and route them for approval.
• Follow up with vendors and staff on missing invoices and approvals.
• Assist in collecting, saving and file vendor paperwork: W-9s, insurance certificates and lien waivers.
• Open, sort and log incoming mail and checks.
• Assist with collecting credit card receipt backup and billbacks.
• Help with property management paperwork: utility bills and tenant notices.
• Prepare checks for mailing and download month-end bank statements.
• Assist accounting department with various needs along with Ad-hoc assignments.
• Filing, scanning and other projects as assigned.
