Job summary

The role focuses on posting tuition assistance, billing, invoicing, collections, refunds, and filing forms in compliance with UMGC, state, and federal policies.

Under supervision, the analyst will handle complex clerical activities, reconcile third-party transactions, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (preferred fields include Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems)
• Two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of best practices and applicable policies for compliance and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Administers and maintains third-party payer accounts, ensuring transaction accuracy and policy adherence.
• Receives, analyzes, and prepares reconciliations, exhibits, and reports for financial review.
• Provides customer service to students, agencies, and staff via phone, email, and ticketing, resolving inquiries within one business day.
