Job summary

Machinify in LaGrange, KY is hiring an entry-level accounting teammate eager to learn. You will support semi-monthly payroll, month-end close, and analyses while leveraging AI tools to automate workflows. This role includes mentorship and a structured ramp to build a foundation for a long-term accounting career.

The position is hybrid with at least three days in the LaGrange office. You'll gain hands-on experience in reporting, data analysis, and collaboration with the Finance team as you grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a structured ramp with mentorship.
• Curiosity about AI and automation in accounting.
• Strong Excel skills or willingness to develop quickly.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accurate forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Support semi-monthly payroll processing and month-end close activities.
• Assist in payroll processing data gathering and entry.
• Analyze payroll expenses, track costs, and report variances.
• Help design and automate accounting workflows using AI tools and technology.
• Assist with reporting and ad hoc data requests across the business.
