Job summary

Pacific Landscape is seeking an Account Manager Trainee in Washington state. This entry-level role develops the foundational skills to succeed as an Account Manager, supporting client relationships, service coordination, and opportunities for landscape enhancements.

You will shadow managers, learn our systems, and assist with proposals, pricing, and contract fulfillment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply; internship or related experience is a plus
• Interest in landscape management, customer service, and business development

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training focused on account management, operations, and client relations
• Shadow Account Managers and Field Managers to gain knowledge of service delivery and client expectations
• Learn company systems, processes, and service standards
• Assist in maintaining client relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Support communication with clients regarding service updates and issue resolution
• Help track and follow up on client requests and concerns
• Assist in identifying potential landscape enhancement opportunities
• Support the preparation of proposals and documentation
• Learn the sales process and contribute to achieving team goals
• Work closely with the Field Manager and Account Manager to understand site conditions and service needs
• Participate in property visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Support coordination to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled
• Attend onsite meetings with Account Managers to observe client interactions
• Maintain accurate records of client communications and activity in CRM systems
• Assist in reviewing property budgets and service plans
• Support documentation for pricing updates and client approvals
