Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answers emergency and non-emergency voice and TDD calls and enters information into the CAD system.
• Provides lifesaving and pre-arrival instructions and coordinates with response units.
• Verifies information through GCIC/NCIC and updates records as needed.
• Operates computer systems and retrieves data for police, fire, and EMS agencies.
• Identifies outdated information and submits updates for verification.
• Testifies in court as needed and may explain E-911 recordings.
