Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen for POST requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls on the County’s emergency 911 system and non-emergency lines.
• Provide pre-arrival instructions per Emergency Medical Dispatch guidelines.
• Log calls and dispatch information in automated systems; monitor GCIC/NCIC entries.
• Coordinate with other departments and agencies for assistance when needed.
• Operate GCIC terminal, CAD, TDD, and GIS systems to support emergency operations.
