Akkodis is seeking three entry/junior HiL Test Engineers to join our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Lab in the Detroit area, supporting a major domestic OEM. You’ll gain hands-on experience with ADAS, powertrain, and vehicle control systems, contributing to test setup, automation, and validation.

Starting pay ranges up to $75,000 per year, with opportunities for growth and professional development through Akkodis Academy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, embedded software, and control systems.
• Familiarity with CAN communication protocols and diagnostic tools is a plus.
• Exposure to HiL simulations and tools like dSPACE, NI VeriStand, or Vector tools is beneficial.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python, MATLAB, or C++) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and configuring Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test benches for vehicle system validation.

• Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support engineering decisions.

Due to further expansion, Akkodis is seeking three motivated and enthusiastic Entry/Junior-level HIL Test Engineers to join our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Engineering Lab on our dedicated team for the next several years while supporting a major domestic vehicle manufacturer in the Detroit Metro area. This role is ideal for recent graduates eager to gain hands‑on experience in automotive testing and validation, working with cutting‑edge ADAS, powertrain, and vehicle control systems.

As a HiL Engineer, you will contribute to test setup, system integration, automation, and validation of complex automotive components using industry‑standard tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, testers, and feature owners, to ensure quality and performance.

Starting Pay Range: Up to $75,000/yr (salary commensurate based on experience and education levels).
