Job summary

Kodiak is seeking an entry-level Field Technician in San Angelo, TX to assist in running compression jobs and operate compressor packages. This role includes supporting equipment maintenance, providing feedback on operating policies, and helping with material forecasts for units.

You will join a team, troubleshoot basic issues, and contribute to 24/7 coverage while maintaining equipment and reporting as required. A strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• OEM, Trade School, or comparable work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of gas processes and compressors is a plus.
• 1 year compression process or related experience preferred.
• Must possess basic knowledge of compressor packages and systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs job activities in line with Kodiak’s procedures and goals.
• Troubleshoots basic issues, building troubleshooting skills on the job and via training.
• Participates in HSE meetings and adheres to HSE protocols.
• Analyzes job parts and inventory to communicate needs with Supply Chain.
• Maintains customer relationships and provides 24/7 coverage.
• Ensures 98% or better mechanical availability of equipment with supervision.
• Maintains equipment in clean, presentable condition and completes required reports.
• Works overtime and on-call rotations as needed.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned.
