Job summary

Pape’ Kenworth, a premier truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking an Entry Truck Technician to join our Portland team on the day shift. You’ll perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks while gaining hands-on experience in a structured training environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of automotive or diesel trucks.
• 1+ year of vehicle experience.
• Diesel Tech Degree acceptable in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose problems and make repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support customers by maximizing uptime and developing skills as a technician.
• Receive dealer-supported education and training while working with senior technicians.
