Job summary

Golden Harvest, the Syngenta-backed seed brand, is seeking Independent Seed Advisors to promote and sell our high-yield corn and soybeans directly to growers in the Midwest. You’ll operate as a self-employed partner, building a local territory with entrepreneurial drive, supported by agronomy and sales resources.

Responsibilities include presenting plans, expanding customer base, forecasting territory potential, and managing budgets while delivering customer value and growth for Golden Harvest.

Qualifications

• Independent Seed Advisors operate as self-employed partners.
• Entrepreneurial individuals build and manage a local farming network.
• Compensation is based on sales with commissions and potential bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plans and offers to target customers.
• Create demand and educate customers about Golden Harvest products.
• Collaborate with Agronomy to address field concerns and recommendations.
• Suggest product placement to boost customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed territory sales, profit, and market share targets.
• Collect and report market intelligence and value chain insights.
• Manage budget, selling expenses, and marketing funds per district rules.
• Expand territory by adding new farmers.
• Forecast demand and opportunities within the territory.
• Develop a territory business plan with must-wins and tactics.
