Job summary

Syngenta Seeds is seeking Independent Seed Advisors to promote and sell Golden Harvest seed products directly to growers across the Midwest. As a self-employed partner, you’ll operate your own business with support from Syngenta agronomy and sales professionals.

You’ll develop territory plans, forecast demand, and build relationships with farmers, delivering plans and offers, and guiding product placement to grow sales, profit, and market share.

Qualifications

• Self-motivation and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with growers.
• Ability to work independently within a support network.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plans and offers to target customers.
• Create demand at the customer level, ensuring knowledge of Golden Harvest products.
• Act as a steward of the Syngenta portfolio by making recommendations in the field with agronomy.
• Recommend product placement to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
• Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets within the territory.
• Regularly collect and report market intelligence and value chain insights.
• Develop your assigned territory through adding new farmers and forecasting for customers.
