Job summary

Vertiv Corporation in the United States is seeking a Business Development Manager for its 1ph UPS line. You will drive revenue growth with OEM and enterprise customers and strengthen channel partnerships, collaborating with Sales and Product Management to win engagements and shape the product roadmap.

The role reports to the Senior Director, 1ph UPS, and requires 7+ years in enterprise sales with UPS/IT systems experience and strong quantitative analysis and executive communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in business development or sales within an enterprise.
• Preferred candidate has direct experience with UPS and integrated IT systems.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating and closing deals with enterprise and/or OEM customers.
• Quantitative data analysis skills to help drive new sales strategies, identify new markets, and enhance decision-making.
• Executive-level communication skills, with confidence engaging technical stakeholders and senior customer leadership.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise & OEM Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a growth strategy for Vertiv's 1ph UPS business with revenue objectives and milestones.
• Identify customer-specific opportunities for 1ph UPS to drive incremental business and build loyalty.
• Investigate system integration opportunities with other IT Systems products.
• Channel Sales Growth Strategy: analyze partner engagement and performance, drive improvements plans.
• Identify activity plans to drive growth in select market verticals (e.g. Federal, Medical).
• Provide market intelligence to Product Management and Engineering to support marketing and new product development.
