Job summary

South Jersey Industries (SJI) seeks a Director, Strategic Program Delivery to lead the enterprise transformation portfolio from Mt. Laurel, NJ with cross-functional leadership. You will establish governance, optimize delivery pipelines, and drive value realization across capital and O&M programs.

The role requires extensive experience in program management, strong financial discipline, and the ability to partner with Finance/Strategy. Reports may span multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in program and project management.
• 8+ years leading teams that include program/project management and change management functions.
• 5+ years involved in enterprise transformation programs.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of all initiatives within the enterprise portfolio.
• Clarify sponsor obligations and delivery team accountabilities; define escalation paths.
• Maintain integrated program plans, schedules, resource and change plans, and RACI matrices.
• Monitor milestones, schedule adherence, scope integrity, and change readiness.
• Manage cross-portfolio interdependencies and capacity with heatmap analysis.
• Lead governance, risk, and benefits realization reporting to leadership.
