Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Lead Director, Technology Strategy and Program Governance to shape the multi-year technology vision across Meritain Health and payer solutions within the CVS Health ecosystem.

You will partner with the Head of Technology to align investments, drive modernization, and deliver measurable enterprise-wide results, influencing governance, budgets, and executive communications across a 300-person technology organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading enterprise technology strategy and organizational planning.
• 10+ years partnering with senior technology and business executives.
• 10+ years overseeing technology portfolios, governance, and financial planning.
• 8+ years creating executive presentations, board materials, and leadership communications.
• 5+ years collaborating across engineering, architecture, product, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year technology strategy, roadmaps, and executive Presentations for leadership and board-level stakeholders.
• Lead technology organization operating rhythm: planning, governance, reviews, and communications.
• Oversee portfolio governance, capital planning, and financial management to align with business priorities.
• Drive accountability by monitoring delivery, risks, and portfolio health for executive transparency.
• Partner across Engineering, Product, Architecture, Operations, Finance, HR to strengthen transformation outcomes.
