Job summary
Star Valley Health in Wyoming seeks an IT Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and evaluate computer networking and telecommunication systems. The role installs, configures, and maintains physical and virtual servers and provides End User Help Desk support.

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Internet, email systems, telecommunications and data communications
- Standard operating systems, software packages, and software utilities
- Proper records maintenance and storage for local and distributed environments
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the ease of changing directions upon requires and need
- Possession of a Systems Administration Certificate is preferred
- Any combination of education and training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related areas
- Experience in LAN/WAN management, systems configuration, troubleshooting, and user support
- Experience installing and supporting Microsoft server technologies
- Experience supporting telecommunications equipment
Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day operation of computer systems including hardware/software support, training, and projects
- Manages, configures and maintains all enterprise servers
- Researches and recommends server technologies and hardware/software
- Assist in installing, designing, configuring, and maintaining system hardware/software
- Analyzes and troubleshoots system logs and tracks problem resolution
- Monitors usage to ensure data security and access privileges
- Installs, supports and maintains physical and virtual servers and appliances
- Establishes and maintains user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security
- Researches, analyzes, monitors, troubleshoots and resolves server problems
- Maintains systems support and archiving procedures, performs daily server tape backups
- Keeps current on new hardware/software products for system enhancements
- Provides support to IT Director and staff, including scheduled network tasks and antivirus updates
- Email/Internet/System support, maintains user email accounts and documentation
- Manages anti-spam and anti-virus servers
- Arrange after-hours call coverage to meet SV Health needs
- Possess a valid driver’s license with ability to travel for work assignments
