Job summary

Culp is seeking a skilled IT technician to support and improve its enterprise technology environment. The role focuses on administering Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune endpoint management, Defender ATP, Windows systems, and related platforms to enhance security, service, and end-user experience.

You will troubleshoot across the tech stack, gather requirements, test changes, and coordinate system upgrades while collaborating with IT and business teams. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in an IT technician, systems administration, or enterprise support role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, endpoint management, Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
• Working knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, security, databases, and troubleshooting practices.
• Experience gathering requirements, testing changes, documenting systems, and supporting projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer-service skills; ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
• Familiarity with scripting, automation, AI-enabled tools, or process mapping is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience.
• Up to 25% local travel may be required. No direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support systems including Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune endpoint management, Defender ATP, Windows systems, and other enterprise platforms.
• Manage helpdesk and infrastructure tickets generated by end users and various monitoring platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues across the technology stack including systems, networking, security appliances and software.
• Evaluate system performance, user feedback, and business requirements; recommend and implement practical technical solutions.
• Plan, test, document, and support system upgrades, hardware/software installations, integrations, and changes to legacy environments.
• Provide advanced end-user support and training; communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist with AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives; identify use cases, test solutions, document workflows, support adoption.
• Maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, project status, and knowledge resources.
• Coordinate assigned projects to meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations; participate in on-call rotation as required.
