Culp, Inc. is seeking an IT technician/systems administrator to support and improve the enterprise technology environment in High Point, NC. You will analyze requirements, administer core systems, coordinate upgrades, and contribute to secure, reliable solutions for the business.

You will partner with IT and business teams to enhance service quality, efficiency, security, and the end-user experience, including involvement in AI and automation initiatives and knowledge management.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, and endpoint management.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot across systems, networking, security, and software environments.

Responsabilidades

• Administer, maintain, and support systems including Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Defender ATP, Windows systems.
• Manage helpdesk and infrastructure tickets from end users and monitoring platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues across the technology stack including systems, networking, security appliances and software.
• Evaluate system performance, user feedback, and business requirements; implement practical technical solutions.
• Plan, test, document, and support system upgrades, installations, integrations, and legacy changes.
• Provide advanced end-user support and training; translate technical info for non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist with AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives; identify use cases and support adoption.
• Maintain technical documentation, project status, and knowledge resources.
• Coordinate projects to meet scope and timelines; participate in on-call rotation.

Supports and improves Culp's enterprise technology environment by analyzing business and user requirements, administering core systems, coordinating upgrades, and recommending secure, reliable solutions. This role partners with IT and business teams to improve service, efficiency, security and the end-user experience.

Position Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support systems including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune endpoint management, Defender ATP, Windows systems, and other enterprise platforms.
• Manage helpdesk and infrastructure tickets generated by end users and various monitoring platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across the whole technology stack including systems, networking, security appliances and software.
• Evaluate system performance, user feedback, and business requirements; recommend and implement practical technical solutions.
• Plan, test, document, and support system upgrades, hardware/software installations, integrations, and changes to legacy environments.
• Provide advanced end-user support and training; communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist with AI, automation, and process improvement initiatives as directed, including identifying use cases, testing solutions, documenting workflows, and supporting adoption.
• Maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, project status, and knowledge resources.
• Coordinate assigned projects to meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations; participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Qualifications and Essential Skills

• Demonstrated experience in an IT technician, systems administration, or enterprise support role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, endpoint management, Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
• Working knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, security, databases, and troubleshooting practices.
• Experience gathering requirements, testing changes, documenting systems, and supporting projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer-service skills; ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
• Familiarity with scripting, automation, AI-enabled tools, or process mapping is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience.
• Up to 25% local travel may be required. No direct reports.
