Job summary

Ares Management is seeking a Principal, Enterprise Business Management to coordinate across Investment Groups, Operations, and Strategy to sharpen enterprise visibility and prioritization. You will drive annual planning, resource allocation, and leadership-facing reporting.

You will work with COOs, HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure priorities and dependencies are clear, with transparent trade-offs informing execution. This role blends strategy with hands-on coordination across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with strong academic record.
• 10+ years in business management, operational strategy, enterprise planning or similar.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and alignment across stakeholders.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex information into executive-ready insights.
• Experience supporting executive forums and leadership teams with reporting materials.
• Strong ability to identify resource constraints, risks and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across Investment Groups, Investment Technology, and Operations.
• Lead annual planning and enterprise-wide budgeting with cross-functional input.
• Prepare materials and updates for COO Forums and operating committees.
• Elevate key themes, dependencies, and risks for leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and enterprise alignment.
• Develop scalable processes and governance for Strategic Resource Management.
