Job summary

SHI International Corp. in the United States seeks a Solutions Engineer - Enterprise to collaborate with account teams, assess customer data center environments, and design tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with business goals.

The role includes building technical relationships with OEMs, training sales teams, and managing the solution practice pipeline. This remote position must reside in the Oklahoma area to support business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
3-5 years in a similar role.
Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
Advanced certifications in mainstream technologies preferred: Dell Technologies, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, etc.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and understand customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and partners; stay updated on product information.
Provide product training and technical education to the sales team and customers.
Act as trusted IT advisor, partnering with Field Account Executives.
Develop strategies to grow the solution practice pipeline and acquire new business.
Identify technology opportunities within Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services.
Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs for comprehensive account management.
Educate sales teams on technical selling and trends.
