Job summary

Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Field Solution Engineer in the NorthCentral US region with expert experience in Cloud Security, IoT Systems, Networking, Linux systems, Security Surveillance, and Access Control.

The role partners with territory account executives to expand Verkada into Fortune 500 companies, interfacing with customers and overcoming technical objections while designing deployments and providing technical assistance to reps.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer with Fortune 500 clients.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in a technical or security field from an accredited university.
Strong networking fundamentals: HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, and Firewalls.
Industry certifications (AWS, CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CISSP, Azure) a plus; experience with AD, SAML/SCIM, APIs, Python is a plus; startup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Interface with customers/partners throughout the sales process.
Overcome objections and secure the technical win for Verkada.
Present Verkada solutions to executives and IT professionals; educate partners and customers on product offerings.
Travel frequently (more than 50% of the time) domestically and internationally as needed.
