Job summary

Middesk is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer to own the technical win on its largest opportunities, partnering with account executives across multi-month sales cycles. You will map committees, design proofs of concept, and lead technical diligence with security and vendor reviews.

You will translate enterprise requirements into roadmap inputs, mentor SEs, and build reusable assets, while shaping product direction and ensuring clean handoffs to post-sales.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a pre-sales or customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Solutions Consultant, or similar), including 3+ years on enterprise deals.
• Proven track record of technical wins with large financial institutions or regulated enterprises.
• Experience selling or supporting B2B SaaS products with API-first or data-centric integrations at enterprise scale.
• Deep fluency with APIs, webhooks, data workflows, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical win on enterprise deals by partnering with Enterprise Account Executives across multi-month sales cycles.
• Map the evaluation committee, build the technical close plan, remove objections, develop champions inside engineering and compliance, and keep the technical track aligned with the commercial one.
• Design and run structured evaluations by scoping proofs of concept with defined success criteria and supporting large-scale data evaluations.
• Translate results into a clear, defensible business case for Middesk and present it to the decision committee.
• Design enterprise integration architectures that fit high-volume, regulated environments and advise on how Middesk fits within the prospect’s onboarding and risk architecture.
• Build the business case for executive sponsors by translating technical findings into the language of CCOs and Heads of Risk.
• Ensure a clean handoff to post-sales by documenting solution designs, commitments, and stakeholder maps for production handoff.
• Champion the voice of the enterprise prospect by synthesizing requirements and working with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to inform roadmap priorities.
