Job summary

Ladders is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Architect to shape the architecture strategy for an enterprise ServiceNow environment. The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and upgrade-safe solutions with governance across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM, in collaboration with government teams.

The position is remote in the United States, offering a compensation band of $160,000–$190,000 per year. You will lead integration design, security controls, data governance, and upgrades to ensure reliable service

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience with ServiceNow platform implementations across multiple enterprise environments.
• At least four years in a leading role focused on ServiceNow architecture and complex design decisions.
• Expertise in enterprise ServiceNow architecture, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and technical debt management.
• Experience with IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and secure connectivity integrations.
• Demonstrated expertise in CI/CD practices, family upgrades, and maintaining upgrade-safe design.
• Relevant ServiceNow certifications, including CSA, CAD, and CTA.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to meet governmental security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain platform architecture standards and design models for consistency and performance.
• Lead architecture reviews and promote out-of-the-box capabilities while managing customizations.
• Oversee technical direction for integrations, API design, and reusable integration components.
• Guide platform security and privacy controls in coordination with government teams.
• Define data architecture and governance policies for ServiceNow.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and technical health assessments for platform efficacy.
• Provide a framework for technical decisions during complex incidents and platform failures.
