Job summary

Heritage Pointe Communities in Indiana seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead enterprise performance across senior living communities. You will partner with executive leaders to advance quality, workforce stability, occupancy, and financial sustainability while ensuring resident-centered care.

The role requires guiding executives, standardizing practices, and driving improvements with data-driven insights and strong fiscal leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent executive-level experience in related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for senior leadership role.
• Licensure as a health facility or nursing home administrator or comparable.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational strategy into operating priorities, standards, plans and goals.
• Direct and evaluate operations through site reviews, dashboards, and risk follow-up.
• Standardize practices while allowing community level decision making and clear policies.
• Lead Executive Directors; drive accountability, regulatory readiness, and staff engagement.
• Develop talent, succession plans, and leadership readiness across communities.
• Ensure resident rights, dignity, safety, and person-centered care across settings.
• Use data and feedback to identify improvements and drive sustainable change.
• Collaborate with Clinical Services and other leaders to integrate quality priorities.
• Prepare for surveys, licensure, emergencies; escalate concerns when needed.
• Oversee budgeting, labor planning, capital priorities, and productivity targets.
